The Reach for a Dream Foundation is looking to employ two experienced children’s entertainers in Port Elizabeth and East London.

The Reach for a Dream Foundation is an organisation that makes dreams come true for children who have life threatening illnesses. The organisation is 21 years old this year and has helped thousands of children and their families through their various projects.

One of these projects is the Jabulani Kingdom. The amaJabulani are professional children’s entertainers who make regular visits to children’s wards at various hospitals to bring some much needed fun and laughter. They entertain not only the kids, but also the staff and visitors. Using magic, storytelling, comedy, puppets, balloon art, music and a range of other talents they raise the mood in the ward and leave everyone on a high for long after they have left.

The Jabulani Kingdom is looking for entertainers in Port Elizabeth and East London to expand this project in the region. We need two people in each city. They must have at least a few years experience in children’s entertainment. Auditions will be held in the first week in July and there will be a three-day training session held in Port Elizabeth in August. This are paid positions and the successful candidates would need to be available to visit hospitals on weekdays about three times per month for two and a half hours per visit.

If you are interested in this position please reply by e-mail to jabulani@reachforadream.org.za or call Garth van Vliet aka JayJay Jabulani on 082 454 6843.
