Chief Executive Officer - Market Theatre: 15/10/10 (GP)
The Market Theatre Foundation seeks dynamic and visionary leader who is
an efficient strategist and customer oriented person.
Required Competencies:
* Proven ability to manage staff at senior management level
* Proven ability to develop and implement policies, systems and procedures
* Experience in working with budgets and managing income and expenditure in line with the PFMA
* Proven ability to manage arts and culture organisations within the framework of the Cultural Institutions Act
* Experience in reporting to Council/Board and corporate governance principles
* Proven ability / Experience of competitive fundraising and marketing within arts and culture fields
* Experience in working with HR transformation matters
* Excellent strategic planning and report writing skills
* Excellent communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills
* 5 years’ experience of working in the arts and culture sector
* At least code 8 drivers’ licence
* Computer literacy
* A postgraduate degree in Humanities, Social Science or Management Sciences.
A competitive remuneration package will be offered depending on experience.
