PARTICIPATION: Individual/Team
 
SUBMISSION: Online file and email must be submitted by 19:00
  Upload your file to either YouTube (video) or SoundCloud (audio)
  Send an email with the names of the participants/team,
and your file/the link to the file to
live@pansa.org with DIGITAL in the subject line
   
VOTING: Online through pansa.org.za
  Closes at 00:00 Thursday
   
REQUIREMENTS: a computer with an internet connection
  (Video or Audio capturing device)
   
TASK: By 05:00 Wednesday an image will be uploaded on the PANSA website. Use this material as a stimulus to create your own bit of live performance. It can be a monologue or scene you perform, a movement piece, a sample of music selection, even a piece of writing. Maximum length for live performance is 2 minutes.
   
LOGISTICS:  
  1. To submit video files you must upload them to You Tube (get a Youtube account) 
  2. To submit audio files you must upload them to Sound Cloud (Sign up to SoundCloud
  3. Any text or photo material can be sent together with your email
  4. You must send an email with your name (team name), list of participants, your files (like to your files) to live@pansa.org with DIGITAL in the subject line.
   
ON DAY:  Your file will have to be submitted the day before (Monday) so on Tuesday
simply direct your friends to the PANSA website
where they can watch and choose their favourite trailer.
   
VIEWING:  PANSA will embed each submission onto the PANSA website..
The online audience will be allowed to vote for their favourite response.
   
 NEXT STEP: The winning response (after online voting has closed, at midnight, and all votes have been counted)
will be put forward for THE FINAL BYTE session on Sunday (R10 000 Grand Prize).
The curator of the festival will contact to liaise with you (you may be asked to perform your response live on Sunday).
   
GENERAL NOTES:
  • All rights to the material generated from CT Live! will rest with the artists.
    The artists will give PANSA the rights to perform the work and will give PANSA and
    the Department of Economic Development and Tourism the right to hold the material
    for archival purposes and use the material for promotional purposes
  • To enter the competition for R10,000 - at least one member of the team must be a resident of the Western Cape.
  • All email correspondence and inquiries to be directed to live@pansa.org.za with DIGITAL in the subject line.
  • Participants can:
    • submit multiple entries for the day
    • submit entries for other days of the festival
    • take part in the OFFLINE/OFFLINE/LIVE section of the festival
