PARTICIPATION: Individual/Team
 
SUBMISSION: Online file and email must be submitted by Thursday 00:00
  Upload your file to SoundCloud (audio)
  Send an email with the names of the participants/team,
and your file/the link to the file to
live@pansa.org with LESSONPOD in the subject line
   
VOTING: Online through pansa.org.za
  Closes at 00:00 Friday
   
REQUIREMENTS: a computer with an internet connection
  Audio capturing device
   
TASK: Create an audio lesson on your favourite interest within the live and performing arts. Make it educational and entertaining. Teach us about Shakespeare, writing music, absurd theatre, how to write a play…
   
LOGISTICS:  
  1. To submit audio files you must upload them to SoundCloud 
  2. Max length is 10 minutes.
  3. You must send an email with your name (team name), list of participants, your files (like to your files) to live@pansa.org with LESSONPOD in the subject line.
   
ON DAY:  Have a listen to the submissions.
   
VIEWING:  PANSA will embed each submission onto the PANSA website..
The online audience will be allowed to vote for their favourite response.
   
 NEXT STEP: The winning lesson pod (after online voting has closed, at midnight, and all votes have been counted)
will be put forward for THE FINAL BYTE session on Sunday (R10 000 Grand Prize).
The curator of the festival will contact to liaise with you.
   
GENERAL NOTES:
  • All rights to the material generated from CT Live! will rest with the artists.
    The artists will give PANSA the rights to perform the work and will give PANSA and
    the Department of Economic Development and Tourism the right to hold the material
    for archival purposes and use the material for promotional purposes
  • To enter the competition for R10,000 - half the members of the team, or the solitary participant must be a resident of the Western Cape.
  • All email correspondence and inquiries to be directed to live@pansa.org.za with LESSONPOD in the subject line.
  • Participants can:
    • submit multiple entries for the day
    • submit entries for other days of the festival
    • take part in the OFFLINE/OFFLINE/LIVE section of the festival
