SUBMISSION: Send an email with the names of the participant/team, the nature of your performance, and title to live@pansa.org with STREAMING in the subject line
   
VOTING: Online through pansa.org.za
  Closes at 19:00 Saturday
   
REQUIREMENTS: a computer with an internet connection
   
TASK: On Friday evening at 19:00 we will be holding a Streaming Forum. Come to the Movement Room, on Hiddingh Campus in Orange Street, Gardens and perform a piece of live performance. Your showcase will be streamed online to the internet population. Remember any piece of live performance is accepted – play extract, music, dance…
   
LOGISTICS:  
  1. You must send an email with your name (or team name), list of participants, nature of your performance and title to live@pansa.org with STREAMING in the subject line by 10:00 Friday morning.
  2. You must present yourself to the Movement Room on Hiddingh Campus, Orange Street by 18:45.
  3. The space where you will be performing does have sound playback facilities, but does not have any special lighting. The space will be set up with 4 cameras to cover your performance.
  4. Your piece should be no longer than 5 minutes
   
ON DAY:  Get yourself prepared to perform and tell your friends to watch you online.
   
VIEWING:  PANSA will stream the showcase (www.ustream.tv) and embed each submission onto the PANSA website. The online audience will be allowed to vote for their favourite live performance.
   
 NEXT STEP: The winning performance (after online voting has closed, at midnight, and all votes have been counted)
will be put forward for THE FINAL BYTE session on Sunday (R10 000 Grand Prize).
The curator of the festival will contact to liaise with you (you may be asked to perform on Sunday).
   
GENERAL NOTES:
  • All rights to the material generated from CT Live! will rest with the artists.
    The artists will give PANSA the rights to perform the work and will give PANSA and
    the Department of Economic Development and Tourism the right to hold the material
    for archival purposes and use the material for promotional purposes
  • To enter the competition for R10,000 - at least one member of your performance party must be a resident of the Western Cape.
  • All email correspondence and inquiries to be directed to live@pansa.org.za with STREAMING in the subject line.
  • Participants can:
    • submit multiple entries for the day
    • submit entries for other days of the festival
    • take part in the OFFLINE/OFFLINE/LIVE section of the festival
