Arts savvy weekend programme - 13 & 14 March 2010
The inaugural Arts Savvy weekend
workshop held by PANSA and VANSA KZN
was a resounding success !
was a resounding success !
This was due in no small part to an enthusiastic and motivated audience who responded positively to, and interactively with, the expert speakers who shared their knowledge with them.
These workshops clearly illustrated that knowledge shared
and sound advice could serve to de-mystify problem areas and set those
who have chosen a career in the arts on a positive and fulfilling
course into the future.
Approximately 50 established industry practioners and emerging
industry practioners from both the visual and performing arts
communities attended the course over the two days.
18 new PANSA members and 4 new VANSA members were signed up and
with the word of month factor I have no doubt that any future projects
will be equally successful and productive.
